"Kopin has a long track record of success in supplying the US military with displays and imaging systems for the most advanced soldier systems in the world," said Dr. John C.C. Fan, CEO. "Bill provides us with a wealth of experience in heads-up display systems as we transition from a display and imaging system supplier to developing and marketing full systems. In addition, Bill's experience with military heads-up systems will assist us in our commercial Wearable system development efforts."

Mr. Maffucci started working on head-up and head-mounted systems in 1983 with Kaiser Electronics and later became a Vice President for Kaiser Electro-Optics and Senior Director, Display Systems for the Rockwell Collins Government Systems Optronics Group.
